Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare is Now Xbox One Backward Compatible

Microsoft’s Backwards Compatibility Team has released today to the program Activision’s Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare.

The game is now playable on Xbox One consoles using the disc or the digital copy of the game.

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare is the eighth Call of Duty title to join in the program. It joins Call of Duty 2, Call of Duty 3, Call of Duty: World At War, Call of Duty: Black Ops, Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, Call of Duty: Ghosts, and Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare.

Spec Ops The Line Free for a Limited Time on Humble Bundle for PC

Xbox Live Games with Gold April 2018

Microsoft has announced the games that will be given to Xbox Live Gold members for the month of April on Xbox One and Xbox 360.

Xbox One users will be able to download The Witness from Thekla, Inc. during the month of April.

On April 16th to May 15th, the Gold members will be able to download Assassin’s Creed Syndicate from Ubisoft.

The Xbox 360 users (and Xbox One via Backwards Compatibility) will be able to download Cars 2: The Video Game from Disney Interactive Studios on April 1st to April 15th and it will be replaced by Dead Space 2 from Electronic Arts on April 16th to April 30th.

PlayStation Plus Games April 2018

Sony has announced the games that will be given for free to the PlayStation Plus members for April on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita consoles.

The games that will be available for PlayStation Plus members on April 3rd are:

  • Mad Max (PS4)
  • Trackmania Turbo (PS4)
  • In Space We Brawl (PS3)
  • Toy Home (PS3)
  • 99 VIDAS (PS Vita)
  • Q*Bert Rebooted (PS3/PS4/PS Vita)

 

F1 2017 Patch 1.13 Available Now on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC

Codemasters has announced and released today a new patch for F1 2017 on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.

They have unveiled the update in a post on their Official Blog and it aims to improve the Multiplayer experience:

Patch Notes for F1 2017 1.13 Patch on Xbox One, PS4, and PC:

  • Fixed bug where the AI pits every lap after multiple weather transitions
  • Fixed bug where players will spawn on top of each other on the grid if posting the same time in an online qualifying session
  • Reduced chance of collision occurring when cars intersect due to network latency

Destiny 2 March Update 1.1.4 is Now Live

Bungie and Activision have released a new update for Destiny 2 yesterday which addressed many issues, but also some community requested features on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.

This update consists of a variety of changes to the Destiny 2 sandbox and Crucible, while also bringing with it unique Nightfall rewards. Players will now be able to enjoy a weekly rotating crucible playlist, which contains 6v6 Iron Banner, Mayhem, and Rumble. Sandbox changes include faster super recharge, weapon buffs and balances, faster movement, increased power ammo drops, and more!

Call of Duty WWII The War Machine DLC Pack 2 has been Announced

Sledgehammer Games and Activision have announced the second DLC Pack for Call of Duty: WWII and it’s called The War Machine.

Call of Duty: WWII The War Machine DLC Pack 2 includes three Multiplayer Maps, a new mission for War mode and a new chapter for Nazi Zombies.

Call of Duty: WWII DLC Pack 2 - Egypt

Egypt: For the first time in Call of Duty: WWII, players are brought to the battlefields of Northern Africa and the Egyptian pyramids. Players fight in and around the ancient ruins at Giza with landmarks that you’re sure to recognize. The map features an interior temple in the center that heats up during intense Domination matches with more open exterior lanes to either side. There’s something for everyone, as all ranges and playstyles have a place to call home here.

Call of Duty: WWII DLC Pack 2 - Dunkirk

Dunkirk: Players face off on the sands and beachfront boardwalk of the French sea-side city of Dunkirk. This map features a large, open and dangerous beach area flanked by tight interiors through the buildings lining the beach-front. Sniping can be effective here, though aggressive running and gunning can also pay off, so keep sharp and watch your angles and surroundings to win the day.

Operation Husky

Operation Husky, whose namesake referred to the Allied invasion of Sicily, is centered on an Allied action to retrieve intelligence on the locations of sensitive German targets in the ports of Palermo and Naples.
