Xbox Series X Console Unveiled, Coming Holiday 2020

Microsoft has unveiled last week their new console hardware in the Game Awards Show 2019.

The Xbox Series X will support 4K at 60FPS, with the possibility of up to 120FPS, including support for Variable Refresh Rate (VRR), and 8K capability. The console will be powered by a custom-designed AMD processor and GPU. Xbox Series X will also deliver hardware-accelerated ray-tracing and it will also feature an SSN NVMe that will eliminate loading times in games.

The console will also support Backwards Compatibility with OG Xbox, Xbox 360 and Xbox One games that are available. The console will also be compatible with every Xbox One accessory and controller.

Microsoft has also unveiled a new controller for the Xbox Series X with a few refinements along with a new Share Button to make capturing photos and videos easier and a new hybrid D-Pad. The controller will be compatible with all the Xbox One consoles and Windows 10 PCs and it will be included with every Xbox Series X consoles.

Microsoft has also announced the first game that will take advantage of the Xbox Series X console capabilities and that’s the sequel to Ninja Theory’s critically acclaimed Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice, Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II.
